长难句在考研英语的试卷可谓无处不在，因此在考试中它是重难点，首先是在长度上会让同学们有排斥的感觉，在上一次的讨论中，我们从气势上战胜了它，但很多时候我们只要耐心下来，总会找到它的突破口，接下来，我们来看几个句子：
1. I do.
2. I love you.
3. I am happy.
4. He gives me a promise.
5. He makes me happy.
这五个句子是不是很简单呀，其实，英语中的很多句子都是由这五个句子变化而来的，而这五个句子都可以化成一个句子：I love you. 也就是说，世界上的千言万语都汇成了这一话：我爱你。不信你看，这一次我们拿考试试卷中的真题逐一分析，看看如何全面地去看待这些无处不自的句子，我们一起来看几个例子：

我们大致可以将这句话分成这几个片段，是否清楚一下，谓语是carry，主语是谁呢?decisions，而Supreme Court和 on physician-assisted suicide都是来修饰限定decision，现在剩下了宾语是谁呢?important修饰 implications 而后面的for how medicine seeks to relieve dying patients of pain and suffering.，虽然我们现在不太清楚具体是什么从句，但非常肯定的是这是一个从句，主句和从句比起来，哪个更重要的呢?of course，当然是找主句的主干了。那么我们来捋一下这句话的主干，也就是主谓宾是谁呢?非常好：The decisions carry implications. 是不是我们前面所讲的I love you.
